First Post, Part Two

Okay, so this really is the first post of the rest of my life.
There’s so much that I could post about just from the past few days: Dead Chief Justices, tragedy in the South, war, famine, pestilence.

I think I’ll just talk about this new blog instead.

First, the blogs on the side “Alex”, “Michael”, etc.
I don’t know any of these people. They came with the blog. At some point I’ll replace them with people I do know or at least people I like and/or admire. Why and/or?

Because I can admire people like P.J. O’Rourke. He’s funny and writes really well.
But he’s a right-winger so any affection I might feel for the guy must always be tinged with a sense of “Dear God, you’re a tool of Satan.”

I digress.

For anyone who reads this thing, which initially will include only my friends, family, and people who think “JohnJudy.net” sounds like it might have tranny-porn, I will try always to be concise, entertaining and, if all else fails, informative.

I’m an expert on very little but I read a lot and it’s a rare day I don’t come across something deserving of mention.

I’ll try to save the personal trivia for those who have no choice but to care and not post any dull audition gripes unless I can include something titilating like a Famous Person seen doing something inappropriate.

The exception to this principle will be when my kid does something amazing. It’s my blog and the kid is the center of my universe. There’s going to be some kid-stuff here and we all have to accept it.
