I am anti-death penalty.
Up to a point.
I figure murder, rape, torture and kidnapping are all part of God’s plan, at least according to most of the world’s major religions, so who are we to judge?
But boy do I hate spam!
Recently this site’s number came up in the spam sweepstakes and I got hit with all the usual suspects in a very short period of time.
Fortunately this site’s administrator has access to the spam-busting equivalents of Russian black market nukes and we emptied the silos yesterday.
Things have been quiet since then as I bask in the comforting glow of my newly-irradiated nemeses (plural, not mis-spelled), so that’s nice.
But I admit, I long for the day when all this trash-talk means I’m doing actual, retaliatory harm to these time-wasting invaders of my domain, rather than just putting them in checkmate for the moment.
As a middle-aged, non-dead person I realize that conflict, victory and defeat are part of a perpetually recurring cycle.
But as a writer I like for stories to have a beginning, middle, and end; preferably one in which the spammers are all hung on crosses along the Appian Way (for the instruction of others) and I never have to deal with this stuff again.
Here’s a link to one of the WMDs we used.
And if you’re some NSA drone who’s here due to my use of red-flag words like “Nukes”, “WMDs”, and “Religion”, drop me a line.
I know a guy can get you some Viagra cheap….
