The Reagan-Bush National Debt

So I was listening to NPR the other day (because I hate Freedom) and it was casually mentioned that the current U.S. National debt is 8 trillion bucks and change.

Hard as it is to believe George Bush has made Ronald Reagan’s tripling of the National Debt seem like the good old days.

By their policies of “deficits don’t matter” the borrow-and-spend crowd has succeeded in filing our national checkbook with the sort of numbers that are properly used only by astronomers.
