So Ms. Ivins has passed and I miss her more than I should miss anyone I never met. But boy she could write funny, hard, and smart and she articulated so much that I’ve felt these past few years. It reinforces my agnoticism to thnk that Molly Ivins is dead while Ann Coulter is still sucking air. You get the idea.
Anyway, I’m directing/hosting “Big News” again this week and I’ve dedicated the show to her. Now all I have to do is write a short, funny appreciation for someone who did that sort of thing much better than I do. What could go wrong?
