The Pew Research enter has made the startling discovery that Americans are friggin’ morons!
And it’s not like they were rocket scientists 20 years ago either.
Full disclosure: I took the sample survey and punted the question about the minimum wage. My answer was off because I couldn’t believe it was still legal to pay anyone that little. I still scored 91%. The College grads and “some college” folks embarrassed themselves and, if this survey is accurate, anyone who can’t swing a high school diploma should not be allowed to vote. Let’s just say we have found Bush’s hardcore 27%.
The good news: Daily Show/Colbert viewers were the highest scoring.
Bad News: NPR and O’Reilly consumers were tied.
I’m guessing it’s because they were asking questions of fact rather than interpretation, i.e. “Who is the Vice-President?” rather than “Is he Evil Incarnate?”
I could have nailed that one.
