So I made “The Switch.” I am now the proud owner of a 2007 MacBook Pro.
Or is it the other way around….?
In any case i still have The Beast, my Acer PC circa a couple of years ago. The new kid has something on the order of four times the memory and there’s lots of stuff for me to learn. I already know the blog looks different when I view it. This post is more than anything else an experiment to see if it looks even more different when I post from it.
Whatever. Feels good just to be exploring something new.
Later I’ll discuss my recent DC visit, Cousin’s wedding, teaching gig, and stuff.
Also, the unpleasantness of T’wana Sharpton advocating for a cause I believe in and the bad luck of Al Gore’s son getting caught doing the sort of stuff I used to do at his age. And how his mugshot looks like a young Kieffer Sutherland.
