Quickly:
It appears as though Hillary prevailed out here although some of that may be due to a lot of first-time and independent Obama voters getting hammered with a ridiculously arcane process required to make their votes count. Some of the Obama-Nation are evidently trying to get this taken into account. I hope they follow Barack’s example and keep it civil, especially now that McCain seems to have until November to polish his act. We don’t want to look like the GOP “coalition”, i.e. Eating each other alive.
MEASURE 91 failed but interestingly got something like 40% of voters behind it DESPITE its own sponsors and everyone else telling them to disregard it. It makes me think 40% of voters just say YES to all measures and props on the ballot.
MEASURE 92 failed anyway. I guess the Community College kids will just have to scrape up that 4th or 5th job to learn Remedial Everything.
MEASURE 93 on term limits tanked which kind of sucks except it means we get rid of that poncing cake-eater Fabian Nunez that much earlier. Silver linings…
MEASURES 94-97 all passed which is good for Arnold and the Indians and bad for compulsive gamblers who will now be able to lose their shirts four times faster than before.
PROPOSITION S passed so that’s good.
I guess statistically it is better to call something a Proposition than a Measure if you want it passed.
Hey, it’s as valid as last week’s polling data!
