Things to Come, Part Two

The pre-Super Bowl hooker round-up in Tampa, courtesy of TheSmokingGun.com

Nineteen headshots mug-shots of women who obviously present a serious threat to public safety and Freedom and Stuff.

What went through my head while perusing them was:

1.  OK, no ex-girlfriends in this bunch.

2.  They look like they should be at a Young Republicans meeting.

3.  Oh no, she’s like a grandmother or something.

4.  Never huff spray-paint.  Ever.

5.  This is so sad.

6.  I wonder what they were charging in this time of limited budgets.

7.  I wonder how many were new to The Life.  Some of them seriously look like recent grads whose credit ran out.  Maybe they had sub-prime mortgages?

8.  As humiliating as it must be to sell your body, why do we make it more so by criminalizing it?

Yes, I know about human trafficking and deplore it but if you’re someone like Eliot Spitzer’s Special Friend and you decide of your own volition that this is the best way you can make the kind of money you want to make; in other words if you are not coerced into it, why not legalize, regulate and tax the world’s oldest profession?

All these women convey misery in some way.  What does anyone gain by making it worse?

Hell, maybe the Tampa cops just want the riff-raff out of the way so the real Pros can rake it in and pay ‘em off.  Ruthless competition is the American Way after all.

Hut-hut-hike.
